A
trucking accident involving an
18-wheeler and a Hyundai early this morning resulted in the death of the car’s driver. The trucking accident occurred at approximately 2.a m. this morning on the Sam Rayburn Tollway near Custer Road in Allen. Investigators believe that the driver of the car collided with the right guardrail before moving into the center lane of traffic. The 18-wheeler was traveling behind the car at the time and was unable to stop and avoid the trucking accident. The 18-wheeler struck the driver’s side of the car and pushed it hundreds of yards down the tollway. The northbound tollway will remain closed until noon today.
When fatal trucking accidents such as this one occur, it’s important that the victim’s family fully investigate the accident and not solely rely on the investigating officer’s report. The victim should have a voice in the investigation as well, and that is what the

Dallas Trucking Accident Involves Police Car

Trucking accidents are always serious matters. What made last night’s Dallas trucking accident a little more serious was that it involved a police car. The trucking accident happened at approximately 2 a.m. on Interstate 635 near Hillcrest Road. Police officers were working a
car accident when an
18 wheeler jackknifed and crashed into the rear of the police car. The police officers were taken to Parkland Hospital with unknown injuries. The truck driver was not hurt as a result of the trucking accident, but officers did find alcohol in his system. Even thought the alcohol levels were below the legal limit, it is illegal to consume any alcohol while operating an 18-wheeler and other commercial trucks.
