A $6.5 million judgment was entered against a Houston man that killed a 13 year old pedestrian in a drunk driving car accident. The fatal drunk driving accident happened in December 2008, when John Winne, first drove into the back of a school bus then proceeded to run over you Nicole Lalime as she walked off the bus. An on board video captured the horrific pedestrian accident. John Winne was sentence sentenced to 30 years in prison for this accident.

Accident Involving 18 Wheeler and School Bus Injures Seven

A trucking accident involving a school bus and car near the Williamson County and Burnet County sent seven people to Seton Medical Center all with minor injuries. This is a fortunate outcome considering that the accident involved a tractor trailer and school bus carrying numerous people. The exact cause of the bus and trucking accident is unknown at this time. Collision Between 18 Wheeler And School Bus In Mesquite

Three vehicles were involved in an accident today that resulted in a mini-school bus sliding down an embankment and landing on its side.  The accident also involved an 18 wheeler and a compact car. A special needs student and two adults in the bus were treated at a local hospital. It is believed that the injuries are all minor.  The driver of the 18-wheeler and compact car were not injured.  The exact cause of the accident, and the party at fault, is unknown at this time.  We will update this blog as additional information about the accident becomes known.


School Bus South Of San Antonio Involved In A Serious Car Accident

Yesterday afternoon, 35 miles south of San Antonio in Pleasanton, a car crashed into the left rear of a school bus. The car caught on fire after the wreck, causing severe damage to the car and noticeable burning to the bus. One victim was transported to the hospital via helicopter ambulance. Fortunately, it appears that no children were on the bus and no other injuries were reported. A video of the car accident scene can be viewed below.
