Car Accident Involving Dump Truck Results In Toddler’s Death

car accident has resulted in the death of a young toddler. The tragic car accident happened on Interstate 20 early this morning during rush hour traffic. Early investigations indicate that a
dump truck that was also pulling a trailer lost its drive shaft, causing the truck and trailer to stop in lanes of traffic. The car carrying the toddler then struck the trailer from behind, killing the toddler and critically injuring the child’s mother who was driving the car. Officers continue to investigate the cause for the accident.

Another Stranded Driver Killed In DFW Auto Accident

The fatal
car wreck occurred at approximately 1:15 a.m. last night on Interstate 20 in
Fort Worth, Texas. At this time investigators believe that a van crashed into the rear of a pickup truck stranded on the highway due to a flat tire. The driver of the truck was found dead on the highway, yet investigators are unsure if the deceased man was in or out of his truck at the time of the accident. The driver of the van was injured in the accident, but it appears that he will completely recover. It is not known if alcohol played a role in this crash. No criminal charges are pending at this time.

UPDATE: Investigating officers have charged the driver of the van with intoxicated manslaughter. It was also determined that at the time of the car wreck, the pickup truck was on the shoulder of the road as the victim attempted to replace a flat tire.
Texas Teen Killed in Car Wreck

Tyler Kilcrease, a teen from Sunset, Texas recently died and two others were injured in a car wreck involving three vehicles. The accident occurred on U.S. 380 near Denton, Texas, when, according to a DPS report, the truck driven by the teen rear-ended a Ford explorer then veered into the opposite lane of traffic before colliding with a Dodge pickup truck. Tyler Kilcrease was pronounced dead at a hospital in Fort Worth. The two occupants of the Dodge truck were in stable condition in a hospital in Denton after the car wreck. The inital cause of the car wreck is not known at this time.
