car wreck, the driver of a Ford Escort, Paul McCoy, collided into a truck that was stalled on the inside lane of Interstate 635 near the Bruton road exit. The Ford Escort then moved into the lane of another truck traveling in the same direction, thereby resulting in another car wreck. Mr. McCoy was killed in the accident, and one of the
truck drivers was taken to the hospital for his injuries. Officers do not intend to file charges related to the accident.

car wreck happened at approximately 11:15 p.m. last night on Interstate 20. Just prior to the accident, officers spotted a pickup truck driving the wrong way in the eastbound lanes of traffic. Unfortunately the truck collided head on with an SUV before officers could stop the wrong way driver. Mesquite, Texas 18 Wheeler Accident Injures Two

An 18-wheeler hauling chicken crashed on Highway 80 at 3 a.m. this morning injuring the driver and his passenger. The trucking accident happened in Mesquite, Texas (a suburb of Dallas). The initial investigation determined that the truck driver lost control of his tractor trailer, which tipped onto its side and collided with concrete pillar. The truck burst into the flames, and the driver had to be pulled out of the truck by emergency rescue crews. Both occupants of the 18 wheeler were taken to area hospitals, but the extent of their injuries is unknown. It is also unknown at time what caused the driver to lose control and whether fatigue, alcohol use, or mechanical problems played a role in this Dallas area trucking accident.

Collision Between 18 Wheeler And School Bus In Mesquite

Three vehicles were involved in an accident today that resulted in a mini-school bus sliding down an embankment and landing on its side. The accident also involved an 18 wheeler and a compact car. A special needs student and two adults in the bus were treated at a local hospital. It is believed that the injuries are all minor. The driver of the 18-wheeler and compact car were not injured. The exact cause of the accident, and the party at fault, is unknown at this time. We will update this blog as additional information about the accident becomes known.

Two educators from Mesquite, Texas and their one year old child were killed in a trucking accident over the weekend. The car wreck occurred near Mt. Pleasant, Texas, when the car driven by James and Leah Eason collided into the rear of an 18-wheeler that was parked on the shoulder of the highway. Exactly why the car driven by the Eason’s entered the shoulder is unknown at this time. Dallas Man Severely Injured By Driver Arrested On Suspicion Of Drunk Driving

A Dallas man sustained a serious head injury after he was struck by a driver suspected of drunk driving. The car wreck occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Stemmons Freeway in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Jose Castaneda’s car had a flat, and he was pushing his car when another car driven by Stefanie Pruitt, of Mesquite, Texas, struck the disabled car, throwing Mr. Castaneda 100 feet from the point of impact. Witnesses that stopped to assist Mr. Castaneda push his car told police officers that Ms. Pruitt was speeding and driving erratically immediately prior to the car accident. Witnesses do not believe Ms. Pruitt applied her brakes before the impact. Ms. Pruitt told police that she was unsure of what happened and stated that she had one beer.
