Texas Trucking Accident Kills Three People
July 31. 2012 12:58 by
A
wrong way driver on Interstate 35 set off a deadly chain reaction early Monday morning. The events leading up to the deadly
trucking accident began at around 3 a.m. Monday morning when a small sedan was spotted driving south in the Northbound lanes of I-35 in Schertz, Texas near San Antonio. The wrong way driver caused an initial
car accident that resulted in only minor injuries. A tanker truck driver, however, failed to see the initial crash and drove through the car accident scene striking and killing two good samaritans that stopped to render aid in response to the first car accident. The other victim was the wrong way driver that caused the initial car accident. Five other individuals were taken to area hospitals for minor injuries. There is no word at this time if alcohol played a role in this horrific accident.
Horrific accidents such as this one come with complicated legal questions, such as who is legally responsible for the deaths and injuries to these innocent victims? Does all responsibility fall on the wrong way driver? Is the truck driver responsible for not keeping a proper lookout? These questions require experienced
personal injury attorneys with the tools to investigate serious accidents such as this one. The Austin and Dallas personal injury attorneys at Wilson Trosclair & Lovins have that experience. Call us today at 214-484-1930 if you were injured due to the negligence of another person

Another Late Night Wrong Way Car Wreck in DFW
August 29. 2011 11:07 by
A twenty one year old mother identified as Brandi Blue of Azle, TX was killed when the truck she was a passenger in collided with a passenger van. The
car accident occurred on Interstate 35W in
Northlake at 4:00 a.m. Sunday. The truck Ms. Blue was riding in, for reasons yet unknown, was traveling north in the southbound lanes of traffic at the time of the car wreck. The truck driver’s medical condition is unknown at this time. Fortunately, none of the occupants of the van were seriously injured. A third car was also involved in the car wreck, but the occupants of that car were also not seriously injured.
Again, while it is yet unknown why the truck was traveling in the wrong lane of traffic, it will be surprising if
drunk driving did not play a role in this tragedy. Considering that the van had seven occupants and the third car had three, this tragedy could have been much worse. Yet, there certainly can be no greater tragedy for the family of Ms. Blue.
